HEDS Campus Climate Survey Results

In the spring of 2021, K undertook a campus-wide diversity and equity climate survey administered by the Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium (HEDS). Through this survey, the College was seeking to better understand how students, faculty and staff perceive K’s climate and level of support for diversity and equity, as well as whether and how often campus members have experienced discrimination or harassment. The results of this survey are presented here in three documents: An executive summary based on the HEDS data; a file summarizing the aggregate survey data from different perspectives and levels of granularity; and a file containing open-ended responses with any identifying information redacted. These results will help guide our efforts to create a campus climate that respects the dignity of each individual and provides a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
